Standing desks enables frequent changes of position for improved worker health and satisfaction.  Sitting all day is not the ideal posture for the human body.  Over time, it can cause an awkward pelvic tilt and disk compression putting you at risk for neck and back pain..the solution?  sit less and move more.  You can start by simpley standing rather than sitting whenever possible.  The sit/stand design of a height adjustable workstation should be part of every company's best practices toward achieving better health and employee longevity.

GROUPE LACASSE offers height adjustable tables in many top sizes.  The tables width measures from 28"w to 70"w.  The depth varies from 23"d to 29"d.  Height range of 18" with 1" thick top: lowest position is 26½". Highest position is 45½". With 1½" thick top: lowest position is 27". Highest position is 46". 

Worksurface is available in thermofused laminate panels and high pressure laminate.

The worksurface height is adjustabe through 2 methods:  the crank and the electrical switch.

Work surfaces are pre-drilled and the position of the bases is assured with wood screws for height adjustable tables and with metal-on-metal hardware assembly and metal screws for fixed height tables. Easy to assemble, all tables meet BIFMA standards.

The crank is precise and easy to operate crank mechanism.  The handle is installed to the left or right under the rectangular work surface.  

The switch can be mounted left or right, under the top. 1.6" (40 mm) per second height adjustment.

EDGE BANDING - 3MM smooth edgebanding on the 1" thick worksurface.

LEVELERS - All bases are equipped with levelers that offer 1" (25 mm) of adjustment.

MODESTY PANELS - It is possible to order a half-height modesty panel for all shapes of surface. Modesty panels are made of 5/8" (16 mm) thick thermofused laminate panels finished both sides.
